The 20th annual Mango Days 5k is a fun family event! Mango Days 5K is a very special race which was created to honor the memory of Patty Smith, daughter of Kit and Margie Smith, who lost her battle with lymphoma at the age of 19. Kit and Margie compiled Patty’s diary entries, letters to her best friend, poems and drawings into an amazing book called “Mango Days”. We are proud to keep Patty’s memory alive!
Awards Awards will be handed out following the race! Awards for top 3 males and females in 8 divisions. Chip timing by Pacific Sport Events. T-shirts guaranteed to those who register by June 1st AND PICK UP THEIR SHIRT AT PACKET PICKUP. (Participants who fail to pick up their shirt at the expo/packet pickup are NOT guaranteed a shirt on race morning – – leftover shirts that are not picked up at packet pickup will be offered to late registrants.) T-SHIRT NOT GUARANTEED FOR ENTRIES AFTER June 1st! We do order extra shirts, but we guess at sizes and amounts – – so register early to guarantee your shirt! Finishers will enjoy an assortment of yummy refreshments at the finish line.
Parking The race will start and finish on Magic Island at Ala Moana Beach Park. There is plenty of parking available in the Magic Island parking lot.
